Dear Sir,
Please permit me to express my view about the recent allocation of electricity consumers to various bands. I live in a single room apartment at Taike Street, Ketu, Lagos where I pay N120,000 annual rent. It seems inappropriate that I pay the same electricity rate with people living in magodo, Omole Phase 1 and the likes. From my estimate, I will be spending close to N18,000 for electricity only on a monthly basis. This is far above my house rent. There are other utilities to cater for. My humble suggestion is that you remove some low class areas like mine from Band A and move them to Band B.
