A nightmare


I had verizon internet fios for over a year now. Recently in february 2024, they closed my account and started a new account under my name. When I called in April to make a payment, i was told that the payment can be done over the app. I logged in and made a payment in the amount of $90.17 A day later I called in because my service got terminated due to non-payment. When I called my balance was 108.89 to restore my service. It was night time so I had to chat with an agent. The agent told me that earlier payment of $90.17 was made to a closed account. And my current account’s due balance is 108.89. I said I never closed any account. But they kept responding in a manner that I did not understand. The agent’s english was broken and his grammar was horrible. After chatting for over an hour, I was forced to end the chat because it was midnight. I am going to file a complaint by calling them and I will make sure no one uses Verizon again.
