E-Nagar Gujarat is an integrated citizen service portal launched by the Urban Local Body and Development Department of the Government of Gujarat for all municipal corporations, Nagarpalika, and Nagar Parishad in Gujarat. Citizens can access civic services, apply new applications, or register the civic complaints of respective cities to Nagar Nigam or Nagarpalika.

The civic services and complaints include:

  • Civic Services: These are drinking water supply/connection, sewerage/drainage management, public infrastructure (road/street/park construction and maintenance), solid waste management (garbage), public health/toilets, birth/other certificates, building approvals, and other license approval or citizen-centric services
  • Business: Registration, approval, or license for business, trade, and commercial activities (food/non-food, restaurants, hotels, markets, etc.), renewal/approval of food licenses, hoarding/advertisement, street vendor license, and other business approvals/regulations.

Additionally, lodge your complaint by contacting the Municipal Corporation, Nagarpalika/Parishad through the citizen helpline number, email, or submit your complaint online.

Not resolved? Escalate the complaint to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Nagar Nigam or the PG Cell Head of the Nagarpalika. How to file a complaint to the Municipal Corporation, Nagar Palika, or Nagar Parishad in Gujarat?

According to the citizen charter of the Urbal Local Administration Department, the grievance redressal mechanism is divided into 3 levels for the Nagar Nigam and Nagarpalika in Gujarat.

File a complaint online (E-Nagar Gujarat)

e-Nagar Service

Citizens can access online e-services through the e-Nagar Gujarat. Apply for new sewerage/sewerage connections, pay property taxes/bills, or get certificates.

Public Grievance Authority, Urban Development Department

The Urban Administration and Development Department is the apex authority that administers all the Nagar Nigams, Nagarpalikas, and Parishads in Gujarat. If your lodged complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction by the Municipal Commissioner or Chairman of the Nagarpalika, escalate your complaint to the State Public Grievance Authority.

Provide these details in the grievance form:

  • Reference/acknowledgement receipt
  • A copy of relevant documents, images, and facts (if any)
