Air India UEJDNB – Downgraded to economy from premier economy without notifying us

We are extremely disappointed with Air India for their unprofessional services.

Booking Reference UEJDNB they have downgraded our family three tickets to economy without even notifying us while we were trying to web-check in. We were shocked to find this day before flying while trying to web-check in.

Air India has misrepresented us in selling a wrong product the customer service agent Jai Bhasin was very unprofessional who expressed Premium Economy to downgrading Economy is not an issue after lot of discussion and wait he transferred to a supervisor whose name could not be noted, the supervisor was even ruder than Jai Bhasin and the supervisor told Air India when they downgrade or change the flight will not notify the passenger without notice the supervisor hung the phone.

We thought of booking Air India which would be a premier brand from India but this airline is as bad as it has been for decades.

Called again by Air India this time Nora customer service agent was professional; she explored different nearby airports and for several dates could not find any Premium Economy seats available. This agent created a case for cancellation 06201434 which we may have to follow-up for refund.

Since my visit is to take care of my old parents with medical condition I have to book from a different airline, this last minute booking is costing me a lot more United Booking M7M0DC is costing me $6775.98 vs Air India booked ahead of time costed $5190.48.

The stress, agony and extra cost due to Air India downgrading our seat without notification.
